At Plaii AS (org. nr. 929705920, Storgata 8, 6100 Volda, Norway), we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our video platform.

We prioritize the protection of personal data and privacy. In order to achieve this, we make a concerted effort to minimize the use of personal data. As part of this commitment, our privacy policy is regularly updated.

Plaii AS is the data controller responsible for the handling and processing of data, including data related to our customers, users, and other business contacts.

We will process personal data about you in the role of data processor on behalf of our customers who have entered into an agreement with us to use Plaii. If the agreement with us is through an agency, the agency will be the data processor and we will be the sub-data processor.

Information Collection and Use

We only collect personal information from you if you choose to provide it to us, such as by creating an account or submitting a form on our platform. The personal information we collect may include your name, email address, and other contact information. If you ask a question, your name and your request will be sent to the organizer's moderators.

We do not track your activities on our platform or collect any information that could identify you as a user unless you specifically provide it to us in one of the forms on this site.

If you are using our service as a customer, we will gather and store basic name, email address, company name, billing and shipping address, phone number, and payment card details. Your payment-related details are collected and stored by our third-party payment processor on our behalf.

If you are using this website as a user we gather the information you provide when you log in. This information is stored securely on our servers and is deleted when the event is deleted. We also gather anonymized analytics including device type, operating system, browser, location, and source of entry.

Subcontractors

All of our subcontractors are based in the EU/EEA.

We send emails through Sendinblue. Our servers are hosted by Exoscale and Hetzner. Your information is stored in encrypted databases and can only be accessed by a very limited number of Plaii personnel.

We send videostreams through Ceeblue, located in the Netherlands, and use EU-based servers for livestream delivery. Our technical infrastructure is built on Exoscale in Switzerland, with event servers in Germany provided by Hetzner.

Plausible is used for anonymous website statistics. Mux Data is used for video analytics with anonymous data gathering enabled.

Liability

The Service may at times be completely or partially unavailable due to maintenance or other reasons. The Supplier's liability is limited to direct and documented losses, and upwards limited to The Customer's total cost of the last 12 months of The Service.

The Supplier is not responsible for the Customer's use of The Service or further use of content created with or linked to The Service.

Cookie Policy

At Plaii, we are committed to protecting your privacy and do not use cookies that identify you as a user. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit.

We use cookies to personalize your experience and understand how users interact with our site. We do not use cookies to track activity on other websites. Our cookies are deleted after 14 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal information at any time. You may also withdraw your consent or object to our processing of your personal information. If you wish to do so, please contact us at plaii@plaii.no.

If you are not happy with the way we process personal data about you, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
